This is a great place for me to brag about the wonderful dogs and people that I have the opportunity to work with. We will try and keep this page up as best as we can, but there is only so much time in the day - but I will do my best! UPDATES TO CLOSE OUT 2009
It's been a very good year for us, a year of many FIRSTS
~ We finished our FIRST Portuguese Water Dog Bred-By Champion - 'Mick' in April.
~ We picked up our FIRST Best in Breed Specialty Show with Skye in May then his FIRST Best in Show in July. He capped off the year with a Terrific Best of Breed Win [Our FIRST] at the Eukanuba Tournament December 12th.
~ Although we've hit the Top 5 with other dogs, it looks like Skye will be our FIRST dog to finish the year in the Top 5.
~ We also Completed Championships on four new Breeds this year, our FIRST Australian Shepherd, Rottweiler, Havanese and Schipperke - Congratulations to them and all the other dogs we finished this year!
We were Happy to pick up Best Opposite at the Harrier National with Wendy McCleery's handsome boy 'Chance'.
Update on our Portuguese Water Dog Bred-By Girl 'Paige' who started her show career this year with a Four Point Major her first weekend out. She finished the year very nicely with four days in SD and four days in AZ winning the Bred-By Class ALL eight days, taking the points four of the days including her Second Major and two reserves ~ leaving just three singles to complete her Championship!! Not bad for the small number of shows we were able to take her to this year.
And Last --- BUT Not Least ~ We are Happy to announce Kyle is a co-breeder on a Beautiful Bulldog litter, with our boy 'Skye' and Kerri Ekard's girl 'Lucy'. There are some VERY exciting show prospects to watch for in 2010!
